Maybe it's because I recently bought a bicycle, but on my campus, it seems that over the last half year or so that a lot of students either have bought shiny new mountain bikes, mostly with brands I'm not familiar with, or candy-colored touring bikes (thin wheels, looping handle bars).  We still have the clanky Flying Pigeon-type as well as the folding kind as pictured above, but on campus anyway, the trend sure is for the fancier kind. Must be Taobao.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks xwattior! bfbfbfbfbf One way to make the people smile is to let them see you pointing a camera. ahahahahah  In Brisbane, Australia, the Council introduced bike stands in the city. People can hire the bikes to get around, however very few people use them and I have yet to see an Asian riding one. I'm pretty sure the bikes will eventually be removed.

Yes, the candy-colored fixed gear bikes are everywhere now. I think they average around 500RMB in a bike store, cheaper on taobao. i'd probably get one but i haven't seen one big enough.
