I just want to make it completely clear that ANY member of this forum has the complete right to contact either Nolefan or myself regarding ANY matter they may deem appropriate, even if it takes place in one of the gender-based Lounges.
The Ladies' Lounge has its own Moderators, and they do a fine job, and they should be your first contact for most matters therein. However, if you do not feel comfortable taking something to them, or if you simply feel making your identity known will cause you some problems, you are well within your rights to bring any concerns you have directly to the Forum management in complete privacy.
Even the Lounge Moderators have the right and the responsibility to bring issues to the attention of Forum management whenever they feel the need; this has been repeatedly made quite clear.
The Lounges offer a venue for relatively private conversations on personal topics within one's own gender, and we are happy to offer them to our full members (The Barflies). They are NOT, however, independent fiefdoms that operate entirely within their own laws. They're still a part of Raoul's China Saloon, and ultimately subject to the management of that entity. Private personal affairs are one thing; grandstanding personal beefs with the operation of the Saloon is quite another.
Everyone has the right to disagree. Such issues should be brought to the forum management. We guarantee you an ear, but we don't guarantee that the management will always agree with you. This does not necessarily make the management wrong.
