Title: I need a good book about Java.

I'd like to study Java - the computer language. I figure I can buy "Java For Dummies" but there may be a better book out there that I don't know bout. Is there a better Java book I can buy on amazon.cn?

I studied Basic, COBOL and FORTRAN way back when, so I think I can handle it. I want to make some crossword puzzles and games and whatever else I can think of.
