Congrats man!

Now prepare for the shitstorm...  ahahahahah

No seriously my little man is 4 months old now and I couldn't be happier with him. Just wait a couple of months till you get that first gummy smile as she looks straight into your eyes, then you'll truly fall in love  akakakakak

Congratulations! She's beautiful! Welcome to parenthood. :)

Does her name work in both Chinese and English? Lexi like Lexie in English and "Le Xi" in Chinese?

Actually Mrs. Casey doesn't really like 小扣子 (Xiao Ko Zi), so the family is now calling her "laikxi" which sounds like her English name Lexi.  Lexi is from the female form of the name Alexander, which means "defender of mankind."

Mrs Casey just got her birth certificate with one minor change. She wanted to change her middle name from Ann to May. At first I hesitated because both my ex's had the initials LMS and I didn't want that constant reminder of them.

But then I decided that I would be so focused on being a good dad, I really didn't care what her middle name would be, she would still be my little girl no matter what she was called.

It also turns out that the family isn't calling her by her Chinese name any more, everybody is calling her Lexi.

She is a month old, gained a kilo (4 kilos) and 3 cm (53cm) and still the apple of my eye.

My brother said I looked the same way when I was that age. Mrs. Casey's family find it interesting that her features are more western and less Asian.
