All of a sudden the weather dropped by 10°

We went down 25º from that typhoon. It's been rather nice.

Felt a distinct autumnal breeze today here too.. Don't like (go on shoot me all of you) 

What is autumn?... We have been having distinct wintery breezes the last week or so... It is starting to feel like winter is going to come early this year...

Cool and damp here in Phoenix Town, Hunan.  At least it didn't rain yesterday.

Everyone's bundled up like there's a blizzard coming.  Then I walk by in shorts and flipflops.  Yep, I'm a little cold, but the weather weasels claimed it wouldn't get below 25 all week while I was packing.

Yep, Zhejiang hit particularly hard by the looks of it. Ningbo less than other places.

The clean up is going to be difficult. People are already talking about food prices going up from ruined crops.

A little breezy here in Heze, but the days are still 30C+. The nights are down to 14C and next Tuesday is due to be 3-5C at night!

My friend called me from Ottawa as he works the night shift. He said it's about 3 degrees but the wind chill makes it below zero. I told him we might turn on the AC, the sun is too hot today. I don't understand why he's pissed off

So 48 hours ago the daytime temp was 24C and I was thinking that's it for this Spring Fest, no snow. But today's top is 3 and apparently there's been a blizzard alert issued for Northern and Eastern China, right in time for all that travel back to work at the end of the holiday. And in fact, the weather forecast on my phone says snow for the next 4 days.

Now, I like snow. But I'm having premonitions of snowpocalypse and I've nearly run out of hibernation supplies.

I feel your pain.  It was almost time to change into shorts and t-shirts in Yichun.  Then yesterday temperatures plunged and it's colder now.  Hopefully, it won't freeze.

3 more days and I fly back to sunny Guangdong.

Total overnight accumulation: <2 inches (that's UNDER 2 inches) The city has come to a standstill and our meeting this afternoon has been cancelled. They can't deal with all this snow
