Just checked the weather forcast for Dalian.

I'm sitting here in sunny Brisbane with a heater by my feet. They babbled something on the news last night about its being 28 years since Brisbane has had this many days below whatever degrees.

That would be Tropical Storm Meari. Due for Harbin Monday. Our forecast for Monday is 13C-15C with lots of rain.

I wish we'd got that. It was cool but not like that. I hope it lasts all s akakakakakummer.

I agree pdsfan. We didn't get there but it was better than the last few days.  At least tomorrow should be cooler again before we warm back up again.  It is times like this I am reminded that I really do prefer winter when the temperatures are negative rather than positive.

nice comfortable 31 here today in Jerusalem,apparently going down to a mere 25 later on this week just in time for the weekend and I bet the sea will be polluted too ...

I think that the word is out that becster79 is coming home. I don't think they want her bringing any "hot stuff" (blokes) with her, so the weather has warmed up a bit and I haven't used my heater for a few days. The ladies are out shopping in clothes which could allow frost bite in some uncomfortable places. The guys are also wearing T-shirts and exposing the cracks of their bottoms. I reckon they are all nuts, because I'm still wearing a couple of layers of warm clothes.

EL, don't worry, we're getting the big dumpings and typhoons up here in Zengcheng too (nearly 2 hours north of you). Those grey skies are just eeeevvvviiiilllll.

Looking forward to moving to Shenzhen. It's doesn't rain in Shenzhen. It's absolutely perfect 365 days a year.

I'll borrow becster79's rose coloured glasses. I guess I should know if I'm looking at cracks or nuts or cracked nuts.

Worse, I've just eaten the last slice of cheese and there's no way I can catch a taxi in this downpour.
