Travel Insurance

My Chinese g/f is in the U.K. on a one-year research grant and is applying for a U.S. visa as well planning a trip to Europe.  This requires travel insurance that we're looking into.  Does anyone have any tips on how to verify the legitimacy of these companies?  No problem finding hundreds of options, just not sure which ones are real and which are ripoffs.

Thanks.

Look at http://www.travelguard.com/ and go with he cheapest option. I have purchased their product before, but fortunately have not had to put their policy to the test.

Thanks.  I'll have her give it a try.
