Foreign Expert Certificate

Hi,

What's the procedure like for getting the foreign expert certificate in Shanghai? What documents are needed? Where does one need to go? How long does it take to get it?

I know that the employer is supposed to get it for me,but I'm just curious! Any answers appreciated!

The procedure is that you have a health certiicate, a signed contract, a passport with a res permit and then all that get handed to the employer. Then they do their magic.
