So it's spring - or some day that's warmish, about 15 real degrees (Celsius), and wet - and you walk into a classroom of damp youth, yourself somewhat splashed about from walking under an umbrella. Do you turn on the overhead fans? I say yes. I assert that science is on my side. I don't care what dumbfounded horror pops every student mouth open to protest. "Cold!" they'll say at the hint of a breeze. I say, moving air dries you out. It'll become chilly if left on too long, but shifting the humid, stultifying fug from one side of the room to the other will *increase* your comfort. I might as well be asking them to eat their desks.
