Very volatile weather you got there, Stil.

Yep, nothing like the frozen tundra in winter for bipolar weather. I was talking to my Momma in Moncton, N.B., on Saturday and she was hunkered down for the day. Said she was out and about and saw a red light, and nothing else, coming her way, and a moment later a municipal snowblower almost clipped her vehicle. Love that social democracy, of which I am a member, and long to spend many a summer there in the years ahead. In the meantime, we'll be keeping the little bungalow on the golf course down here in Carolina.

Thanks Stil! If you didn't see it, it would be hard to believe. The only way I will ever see such things, is through people like yourself, taking the time to show me. bfbfbfbfbf

My daughter said it took 2 people 3 hours to dig out her car so she could go to work.  bibibibibi   aoaoaoaoao  My house is in the country so it gets the full brunt of the drifting snow.   aoaoaoaoao

Later my eldest son posted a picture on FB showing a cleared driveway with a high wall of snow at the side.  I asked if he had a plow come in.  He said no, he had some fun and dug the snow in blocks and built a wall.

I am still in the Caribbean basking in 28 C weather and swimming in the ocean.  However, I will have to fly back to the snow and cold in a couple of weeks   asasasasas aoaoaoaoao aoaoaoaoao agagagagag

It's been warm the last couple of days in my area so most of the piled up snow is going

Not everyone is happy about it though.

When I see the snow and the cars etc on TV, I just can't get my head around how anyone gets anywhere. If there are no lakes etc handy, what happens to the water from the melting snow, given that I would expect the ground to be unable to absorb it all for ages? It's strange to know that I will leave this earth without having seen any of it for myself. bibibibibi Really nice photos thanks Stil. bfbfbfbfbf

That second pic looks like where I live. As we used to say, In Toronto, if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute
For you to insult me, first I must value your opinion

Wow, lovely pics - though I'm not so keen on the cold!

I'm  suffering through lots of rain here on The Tweed but at least it's warm.
I've fallen in love with the world.....

That was snow. Nothing to do with cold. When it's really cold, it doesn't snow much.

Don't remind me - I'm not looking forward to COLD winters.

Many years ago I lived in the Australian high country and I now remember what you are saying about snow v cold.
