Any info on this place? I've been offered a last minute job - if any of you don't know, a job in Nanjing fell through and now have to get one quickly. So I've been offered a job in Jining City.

Please tell me it's alright...

Don't know the city... BUT, Shandong is a nice province, with lots of seaside spots, including Qingdao.

Also, the people are renowned for being the warmest and friendliest in China, and my experience bears this out (most of Ireland's Chinese people are from Shandong)
