I'm bad, but I'm not that bad.  I make it a point to make at least one post every week (or at least one every two or three weeks) that has nothing to do with either innuendo or flirtation.

I can't wait for my D-I-L to come down to Brissy and tell me why I can't open these links. Actually, I've just had a thought; I wonder if she put in some kind of censorship on my computer, to stop me from viewing things she thought were inappropriate for this old lady?     All I can get is a warning about the contents and when I say that I can accept the contents, all I get is a blank page. The mind boggles!!!!!!!  I'm really curious now about what all this is about. EL, if it is ok with you and everyone else, I'll give you that flogging, just in case you have been a naughty boy.

Went out for steak last night with my darling wife.

Intriguingly, the restaurant seemed aware of something called "White Valentine's Day".  Had to look that one up.  It's "white day", which indeed is a "payback day" for Valentine's day.  For example, in Japan, on Feb 14th, girls traditionally give chocolate to boys and on March 14th, white chocolates and other white items (lingerie in some cases) are given by the boys to the girls.  Apparently, other Asian countries do similar things, but with the boys giving on Feb. 14th and girls giving on March 14th.

Oh, now you tell me!

I went out to dinner with my ex-girlfriend last night.

She said, 'Do you know what day it is?', and I said, 'Well, actually, yes. I did read something on the internet, but I have to say I'm rather surprised that you're bringing it up.'

I began to wonder if her untypical choice of the steak pizza was a favourable portent. I translated the name of EL's festival. She didn't seem offended or confused, so I suppose at least now I know it's within her conceptual understanding.

Anyway, she's now my ex-ex-girlfriend, or in other words my girlfriend, again.
