Title: Why Cannot I Get Splenda or Sucralose in China?
Post by: Ivyman on May 26, 2021, 05:24:38 AM
Hi Everyone,

Back when I was much leaner and more fit, I ate oatmeal every day for breakfast.  Greek yogurt with strawberries, etc.

Key to this was a big box of Splenda, and cinnamon.

1.  Why cannot I get Splenda in China?

2.  What about frozen strawberries, blueberries, etc. that are common in the US?

3.  What should I do to get these things?

1.  Because it's an uncommon item here.  China uses some artificial sweeteners, but the demand is significantly less than in the US.

2.  Buy fresh at the grocery store or vegetable market,  If you find some you like, buy more and freeze some for when they are out of season.

3.  Splenda is probably available on Taobao and online shops specializing in imports.  Also, does your city have any grocery stores specializing in imports?  Plus, check the foreign good aisle of larger grocery stores and supercenters,
