Yeay, it's getting cooler!!  This week I went from no sleeves in the morning to a light fleece in the evening, and now it's a light to medium weight fleece all day.  Don't have to put the butter in the frig any more!

I think I'm about a month away from blessed heat-relief here in the south.  Every so often we get a cooling breeze, but standing in a classroom and teaching still makes me soaked.  I love the air con right above the desk in my office. akakakakak

Changchun - daytime, low 20's (low 70's)
Changchun - nighttime, low teens (mid 50's - low 60's)

That means I can breath during the day and sleep with all the windows open at night.

My students have already started wearing jackets in class and I found one boy with longjohns. I don't even want to wear long pants

Here in Harbin we just had a very short but very intense storm.  I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it.   My apartment is on the 20th floor of our building and the visibility through the windows was basically zero (I looked out the window when I heard the rain) - I think it was the heaviest rain I have ever seen and within 5 minutes it was gone ... The sky still looks very black (as it has all afternoon but the worst has passed at least for the moment.
Sometimes it seems things go by too quickly. We are so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take the time to enjoy where we are. (Calvin and Hobbs)

Fuzhou is cooling off. Highs still in low 30s, but down to mid-20s at night.

I hear a rumor that surf's up for the next few days for those of us near HK.  Any idea where I can find some weather maps with storm path predictions, etc.?

Windy and rainy today due to the storm offshore.  Made the temp almost bearable.  A nice breeze was blowing through my classroom tonight and I was just about comfortable.  One girl was huddled into her jacket and another girl closed the windows.  Temps are still pushing 30.
