Nice here in subtropic Nanning. Doesn't get down to the temps Lotus referred to until winter, thank you very much. Overcast and cool. Off to the zoo today, to show little miss N strange animals uncomfortably penned up and badly looked after.

A light misty rain this morning here in Xi'an. I've moved my begonias indoors as the nights are pleasantly cool for me but too cold for them.

Downpour in Huludao today and oddly enough, not much colour change in the leaves yet.

Just raining now, but 'twas dumping and howling all day here.  Has anyone else noticed the latest typhoon?

Today was the first day since spring here in Ningbo when it felt at all chilly.  We almost never get snow though -  I miss that from my time in Beijing.  Also, it has been raining heavily for more or less three days straight now.

Not raining heavily in Xi'an - just what my mother would call a Scotch mist - enough to make everything wet, need to use the windscreen wipers and just maybe use an umbrella - but not actual rain.  But the temps are down in the single figures. Winter is close!!

my morning showers aren't quite so pleasant since my water heats to slightly warmer than tepid.  I've heard the heat won't come on for a few weeks yet...I've pulled out my wool socks and sweaters for indoors though the classrooms are plenty warm with all those kids in there.  The leaves here seem to skip the 'turning' phase and just drop off asasasasas

Your air conditioner works as a heater too.  You just switch the function and it will heat the apartment.  Why is your water not hot??

I don't have an a/c, just radiators.  Water settings on gas heater are all at max, water fluctuates from warm to slightly less than hot but mostly at warm.  It'll be ok once the heat is on.

Really dumb question - but is the gas turned on to full at the outlet from the gas bottle?  I found that my my water heater operate better!

Probably old with good bit of corrosion basically insulating the water from the heat...could need the gas jet cleaned too.
I'm not a fan of cold water when it's cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Summer breeze makes me feel fine...

It's perfect right now; Autumn here is like Canadian summer.

Best enjoy the next 3 weeks before the yucky damp winter sets in.  alalalalal
