Potentially very irritating band, as if Zooey Deschanel were made into music, but some inspired toonz too.

Australian ABC Radio National.  A brilliant radio station.    Right now "The Daily Planet' with Lucky Oceans - music from all over the world, specifically Anatolian wedding music at the moment!   

The station is really, really worth a good, long listen - and as a bonus you will hear the charming and dulcet tones of English as she was meant to be heard!!

Been listening to this Chinese duet for ages now... I don't know who sings it but it is just very catchy. The title is 小酒窝.

I seem to be the last person on earth to hear the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.  Outstanding!

Rick Ross.  I'm not much of a hiphop fan, but I quite like him.
Paramore are good if you like Avril Lavigne.  I kind of do.
Japandroids are awfully rowdy and raucous, so I have to be in the right mood.

Then I stepped out of last year and downloaded scads of Nick Drake and White Stripes.

A T'tan music DVD filmed and produced by my mate.  Very local and traditional.

Moving backwards, I've downloaded everything through page 22.  Great minibites thus far, but it'll take days to listen to it all.

I recently discovered Chingon. They're like mariachi meets metal. Really cool. They did some music for the Grindhouse sound track.

I recently downloaded the extremely rare 1965 debut album of The Guess Who, Shakin' All Over, which predates Burton Cummings and features Chad Allen on vocals. Great stuff. Sounds like a cross between rockabilly and 60's garage rock.
