When over half of the population refute scientific fact (r. e. evolution): it's time to pull a Kenny Rodgers and know when to fold'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run.
NOOOOO - this is the time when people with intelligence really need to come out of the woodwork and shout - this is wrong, this is stupid, do not let me be led by those who believe this.
Remember the fight for civil rights for African Americans - how many people believed that they were somehow 'lesser' - it took the people who knew and understood better to fight. The same with womens rights, the same with any real change in society. Garbage needs to be combatted on every leve3l - not walked away from.
If it's not good for the society as a whole - then when good men do nothing, in this case stupidity WINS!!
