Hi Everyone,
1. I know China had language center rules about a month ago. It looks like these rules are more than nominal, they are real in their implementation.
2. From what I see, some big companies that built themselves about training rather than teaching, such as Wall Street English, have gone bankrupt.
Many smaller places have shut down.
3. Many other places, like these small centers, have switched from being English language training centers to:
- Only work on weekdays
- Do Art, Reading, or enrichment on weekends
- Are working some other scheme
4. How does it affect us Westerners?
- More competition for typical, 9-5 jobs, such as public school teaching, private school teaching, etc.
- More competition for Guojibus, even though they are regulated, too.
