Handbags - in China
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:17:49 PM »
xwarrior, that photo just made me wonder about what type of handbags the ladies carry around!

Here are some samples, Granny Mae  agagagagag

Shoulder/hand bags seem to be very important for Chinese girls. They certainly put a lot of time and thought into selecting one.

I think that for girls working in basic jobs a bag gives a chance to express their personality in a world that is pretty overwhelming when it comes to establishing individual identity. A bag also gives them a place to store all the things that are important to them - many live in shared accommodation so they tend to keep their personal things in the bag. Girls in short dresses also find the bags useful when sitting on a bus or train ...  xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks xwarrior! As usual, you have taken some beautiful colorful photos. bfbfbfbfbf  Most of the guys wont understand the thought that goes into selecting a handbag. I hope you don't mind if I tell a little story here. My handbag is worn out and I have been searching everywhere for one like it. No luck in the shops because the fashion has changed, so I went to one of the charity shops which has donated goods for sale. I thought that someone might have tossed out a little used bag as they kept up with the fashion. After several visits, I found such a bag. bfbfbfbfbf  Not exactly what I wanted, but good enough as a temporary solution. When I got home, I had a better look after pulling out the plastic bags inside and guess what I found?........ A substantial amount of money in AU$50 bills in one of the zipper compartments. Because these donated articles are delivered to the stores and can come from anywhere, I contacted the headquarters of the association asking if anyone had reported their loss. No luck there, but I was given another number to try. It took a couple of weeks to get a live voice on the phone as I do not leave my number. No luck there either. The owner had left the card of a police officer and a railway ticket from Taipei in the bag. After sending two emails to the police officer, I still had no reply. I then spoke to an Asian lady at the Casino to check the language on the card and it is Mandarin. I am now going to find someone I can trust, to make a call to this Policeman to see if he can throw any light on who the owner might be. This person may only speak Mandarin. If that fails, then I will buy an overseas telephone card and make the call myself and take a chance that he speaks English. If that fails, then Medicin Sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders charity) will receive a large donation. Who would ever believe it was so hard to give someone back their money? bibibibibi bibibibibi

Absolutely terrible xwarrior.

A photo spread of handbags in China should be at least 50% men. They often carry two. Their own... and their wife's/girlfriend's.

Good grief Stil! bibibibibi That might explain a lot about this handbag of mine from Asia. ahahahahah The owner may not have told HIS wife where he had been and HE might have ditched it in a charity bin when HE came back to OZ. aoaoaoaoao The mind boggles!!!!! ahahahahah
