Hi --
I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience teaching here, or dealing with the foreign office.
I talked to them for long enough to agree to come and ask for a contract, but when I got it, in addition to the 16 hours they told me about, at the very end of the contract it mentions six more of doing other work for the school. I e-mailed one of the foreign teachers, and he said it isn't enforced, so not to worry about it.
I am leery, though. I'd work 16 hours for the salary the quoted me, but not 22.
Also, there is someone named Christine Zhang involved, and I vaguely remember hearing that name before. I remember hearing something about a school in Shanghai (maybe that one) that hired people, but then farmed the teachers out to do training elsewhere.
Is this the same place? I'm starting to feel a bit leery about going there.
Thanks for any info.
