We've added a lot of new members, and certain of our old members drink pretty heavily, so it's time for a reminder of our policy about posting jobs and job info here.
We don't allow members to directly post jobs. If you work for or know of a good school that has an opening, we'd LOVE to post an ad for the position here, free of charge. Just send the info to
goodchinajobs@gmail.com. Jobs posted here must provide work and residence permits if they're full-time, include salary and major benefit information, and offer competitive conditions and compensation. Schools may be researched for past mistreatment of foreign teachers before jobs are posted.
If you want to discuss a job ad you're recently seen somewhere, that's great...but
please do not post direct links to an ad, or any contact information from the employer or its ad.Why do we do this?
We want people who read this forum to feel confident that any jobs listed here have been checked out and offer at least a fighting chance of being a good, honest job.
And we don't want school admins, or ESPECIALLY recruiters, to join us simply for the ability to post jobs that quite well might not meet our standards, nor do we want our readers inadvertently piped into the clutches of a dodgy school or a recruiter.
Please help the Saloon continue to be the place to find the good stuff!
