Hello all,
I know that Suzhou is hot on many people's favourite cities list (including our dear departed Raoul) but has anyone actually taught at this revered establishment? I have been informed the campus in question is the downtown one, still waiting on addresses of past/current teachers, but any input from the Saloonies well acquainted with the city would be greatly appreciated. bjbjbjbjbj

If you don't like cold then I would not put it on a go-to location. My first year in China was in Wuxi which is near Suzhou. I dang near died of the cold (and I am from Canada). Teaching while wearing heavy boots, down coat, toque and gloves was not fun. llllllllll llllllllll asasasasas asasasasas llllllllll llllllllll
Sorry I don't know about that specific school but the cold during winter is terrible. Apartments are not heated by hot water either (like in the north). There is a hot/cold air conditioner unit in one or two rooms but if you have to pay for electricity it gets very expensive.
