Positions 1 Oral English Teacher
Age 25 – 55 Inclusive
Location Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, 2 hours North of Shanghai (by bus)
Description To teach Senior Grade 1 Student’s oral English, real life curriculum provided, however teachers are encouraged to expand on the curriculum while keeping it interesting and fun. Class size approx 50 students per class.
Workload Your workload will be 10 – 12 teaching periods a week Monday to Friday (period is defined as 40 minutes). Some weekend work may be required. There is no fixed office hours, but you are also encouraged to be available to students during lunch times from 12.00 – 13.30 for free talk. (This is not compulsory; you will find that you’ll enjoy it though)
Qualifications BA degree preferred
TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DETLA required
Experience Experience preferred, but not a prerequisite all applicants will be considered
Salary A basic salary of 4750RMB is offered, with a bonus of up to 500RMB per teaching month payable at the end of each semester. Overtime is paid at 100RMB per extra class.
1000RMB travel allowance at the end of each semester.
Return economy class ticket is reimbursed to country of residence on a 1 year contract.
Holidays All Chinese national holidays, and Christmas day, approx 2 weeks Spring Festival and 6 weeks Summer Holiday.
Accommodation Furnished, and fully expensed 1 bed apartment on School Campus,
