I'd torrent. Torrenting's days are numbered, I think. The big aggregators are going down one by one and not necessarily being replaced. Online piracy checks are going to get "better". The "freedom" of the internet is going to be circumscribed (even more). ISPs are going to be complicit in that. What you download is going to be monitored (more). But for now.... oh yeah, 1080p high def, ad-free video - while you still can.
It's Netflix, isn't it, that's moved into tv and movie production? Their logo's on everything I watch these days. And Amazon? I haven't been paying attention. But if we're lucky, that's the future - high definition video on demand for a subscription, with no ads. And you can subscribe to different services at the same time - just like having different channels on your broadcast tv. That's what made cable tv so unattractive in the past: they attempted to be the be-all and end-all of your tv requirements and instead were a limited, partial selection of what's truly on offer.
