Seems a little (!) windy tonight and we have some rain.  I'm just thankful the 'breeze' is cooling things down a little.

Checked my email and the Guangzhou consulate very kindly informed me that a typhoon is in the area. aoaoaoaoao  According to the map on the Hong Kong observatory site, it's heading off towards the west.  Mr. Nobody, are you paying attention?

Typhoon was supposed to hit Guangzhou tonight at 9pm and continue tomorrow whole day. We are just getting a strong wind and rain showers here. HK and Macao are on Orange alert. We were on Blue today. But may as well have Orange tomorrow. So possibly no classes.

Stay safe Cheeky.  I'm off to bed as usual, except for the accompanying sounds of the metal doors rattling in the (very strong) wind.

Windy here as well, rain during the day.

Leaves are just beginning to change colour, and it is now OK to leave the butter out of the fridge.

Still quite windy with a smattering of rain.  Blessedly it's much cooler.  (Thank you typhoon.)  There are gaps under my doors.  Welcome mats have been blown in a couple of feet  ahahahahah

Shenzhen has cooled off a bit, but the rain is still heavy. Last night I thought the cheaply-made windows were going to blow in. I actually had to tie a window shut because it kept opening even after the landlord fixed it.

Anyway, hope it stays cool for the rest of the year.

I'm with you on the 'cool' front.  May to Oct. is too stinking hot here. (I'm right next door in Dongguan.)

I was afraid something would fly through the window. But I guess since we are on 19th floor nothing was flying that high.
It is still hot in Zhuhai and humidity ATM is very high. Everyone keeps saying this year is insane and usually it should be cooling down after the mid-autumn festival. Well, I guess we are in for a few swims at the open pool till end of October!
