Continuing from the 'teachers tips' topic.
Which 5 people would you invite for dinner and what would you feed them?
My 5 people:
Phillip Adams (Oz journalist)
Xin Ran (Chinese author)
Billy Connelly (Scottish comedian)
Either Paul Keating or Gareth Evans (Oz pollies)
Aung San Suu Kyi (Myanmar pollie)
Lunch - after my parents retired they bought a place on the top of Buderim Mountain in Q'ld - 5 acres overlooking Alexandra Headlands and Caloundra to the front and the Glass House Mountains to the back. So under the trees there, I'd have a round low table, with us sprawled conmfortably on cushions or beach chairs, eating from a few huge platters of fresh shellfish of all types - prawns, Moreton Bay Bugs, crabs (sandies and muddies) oysters lobsters etc,- baguettes, salad makings, fresh tropical fruits and ice-cold champagne.
No hard work, little to clean up and a long, lazy afternoon talking.
