Ok, Thanksgiving is actually tomorrow, but I thought I'd get a head start.

Now I just have to figure out where to get some sliced turkey for a sandwich.

my favorite day of the year usually!!
For the first time in over a decade, I'm not roasting a whole turkey due to the covid situation in Italy. We're having us a small one with the missus at home and can't see/meet other people.
Either ways, even in crappy 2020, there are things to be thankful for.

My favorite holiday was certainly muted this year but that’s ok. I did Cornish game hens, cranberries, wild rice, and asparagus. The store ran out of turkey, or I’d have tried. Got a wedge of pie from my folks after the fact, Little Macho (Machito, I guess) loved it.
