The hard part is getting a shot where people are not reacting to the camera.

ok, Stil .... how do you get that retro 1950's effect with your photos!?

Well, I use a pretty good camera that records lots of information in the RAW file, so it gives me latitude to play with the images.

I use Apple Aperture to process the Raw files. I made several adjustments, including in 'curves' to change the colour. I then saved it as a preset to use with other images.

Nice photos Stil, I love the perspective in pic 1. Also the girl in that pic reminds of a less hot version of a hot ex-friend.
