Great photos thanks Isidnar. It would be interesting to know why the wall was built. Did you ask the Monks? I'll be interested to know about that cave as well when you get the chance to have a look. Looking at that terrain makes me appreciate the efforts of my friend Bill. He was a stretcher bearer in Papua New Guinea in World War 2. You can imagine carrying the wounded on stretchers for up to five days across that rugged terrain.
