I'm in middle Henan and my friend and I are looking for a place to go for a 3 day birthday trip. I was thinking of Shandong but it seems that everywhere is at least 16 hours away by train. I'm trying to find somewhere to go that has a bit of nightlife and a foreign restaurant. I don't care about doing the tourist things. My friend has already been to Luoyang, Kaifeng and Zhengzhou. Is there anywhere we can go that isn't a day's trip on a train?
